JTHM x Reader ~ pt.1

"Hey did you hear a new kid entered our Skool?"
You turn to your best friend, Tess ,"Really? Boy or girl?"
"Boy. You could tell he's emo though. So don't get you're hopes up."
"Do you know his name?"
"No," she says, "I have no clue."
   You picked at your food and started thinking. What if he's in one of your classes? He's be noticable right away. Everyone in this skool was here since Kindergarden  considering this is the only skool in town. It was rare whenever someone could even find wherever you lived.
    Tess picks up her tray, "Let's go outside! I'll show you what he looks like. Dillion just texted me and the new kid's sitting outside all alone."
You got excited and threw your plate away, "I'm not hungry. Let's go."
     Once you were both outside, Tess's boyfriend Dillion stood by the dusty monkey bars in the abandoned playground. Tess waved to him. This is the third guy she's dated since the start of the new skool year.
      "Look at that freak," He says while looking at a dark figure under a tree. Tess and you both look in his direction.
"Why would he be out here?" Tess asks. You stood next to her and kept staring. The boy  was almost like a shadow. It's noon, and yet you cannot see his face.
"Maybe he just doesn't like people." You say. They both look to you with a disguisted look.
"You don't even know the prick." Dillion snaps. Tess didn't speak up.
"You don't know him either! What gives you the right to call him a prick?!"
Dillion suddenly panicks, "SHHH! He'll hear you!" He whispers and rries not to look at the boy. You look over Dillion's shoulder, and your face turns white. The new boy was staring straight at your group.
"T-Tess..." Your eyes stared wide.
"What?" She comes up beside you and sees what you're staring at, "Oh..."
Dillion turns around and gasps. Now all three of you were staring, and it was obvious. The shadow didn't do anything. He stayed motionless.
     "See what you did?!" Dillion punches your shoulder. You wince but didn't make a noise just so you can act tough.  You were about to hit back when the bell rang. Dillion grabbed Tess's hand and ran the other direction.
"That prick is your problem!" He shouts. You rub your shoulder and stared in disbelief as they ran.
"Are you alright?" An unknown voice asks next to you.
You turn to him, "Why does it-" before youcould finish, you realize this voice was the same boy sitting at the root of the tree.
"I saw what he did to you," You noticed his wierd messy blue haircut, "and I also heard what you said about me."  His shirt was black with "Z?" written in white.
"Oh..." You notice a scar down his left eye.
"What class are you attending next?"
"S-Science." You stutter.  
"Good." He smiles. The way he smiled made your stomach flop. You sweetly smiled back.
"Too bad you will not be able to make it."  He suddenly reaches for your throat and grasps it and squeezes hard.
